SUSU the Cat to run for Union President in Sabb Elections 2012
With the SUSU Sabbatical Elections nominations closing on Thursday, rumours of candidates are rife, including SUSU the Cat – according to a source close to the matter.
The cat, age unknown, is said to have already built up a detailed manifesto for Union President when campaigning begins on 23rd February.
1st Year taken to hospital after Freshers’ Fayre

An unnamed first year English student was hurried to hospital yesterday during the SUSU Freshers Fayre held on campus. We are unclear of the cause, though the student’s flatmate told Slightly Soton that “she had just been eating all the freebees”

The average result at Southampton was 62.4%, a low 2:1, whereas Solent was 71.3%, a first, with the highest results in the ‘Retarded Disabilities with Licking Windows BSc’ course.
